Inside Technical Sales - West GTA

Our client has an awesome Inside Technical Sales Representative opportunity. The successful candidate will provide quotations for spare parts, expendables, preventative maintenance contracts and technical service for our customers in North America. In this role, the Inside Technical Sales Representative will work closely with our Commercial Sales and Service teams to grow Service & Parts (S&P) sales. This involves usage of the Sage ERP system to develop quotations and provide sales reports as needed. The ideal candidate has a technical background with strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Prepare accurate quotes using the Sage ERP system quoting module.

· Maintain accurate labour and parts costing on all sales quotes for desired profitability

· Proactive follow up with customer data base in order to schedule expendable change outs & service.

· Follow-up with Regional Sales Managers and customers on outstanding spare parts and service/PM quotes

· Proactive renewal of all preventative maintenance agreements.

· Quote spare parts, expendables and preventative maintenance after capital equipment sale.

· Provide excellent Customer Service (verbally and written) with prompt response time and follow up on quality of products & services provided.

· Assist with expediting parts orders as required to ensure customers’ needs are met

· Document Customer complaints/issues within QCBD Quality System and follow up to ensure any required warranties/returns/credits/etc. are processed for customer satisfaction

· Maintain an accurate customer database.

Education AND Experience:

· Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

· Sales experience is an asset.

· Water experience an asset

· ERP/CRM experience is an asset.

· Strong technical background

· Strong multi-tasking skills.

COMPUTER SOFTWARE

· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Sage500 ERP, CRM
