Location - West GTA

Role - Sr. Project Manager - Air Quality
Responsible for: Managing, reviewing, and participating in various projects, including but not limited to, air permitting (e.g., ECAs and EASRs), air quality impact assessments, annual reporting (e.g., NPRI, ChemTRAC, GHGs), dust and odour management and mitigation strategies Project management tasks including, but not limited to, proposal writing, cost estimates, budget/time management, task prioritization and resource management Client management tasks including, but not limited to, prompt and tailored communication, higher level client support, developing practical and, where appropriate, innovative solutions Mentoring staff through on‐the‐job coaching and guidance
Supervising junior and intermediate staff, including training, assigning and prioritizing work, resolving problems and conducting performance reviews Participating in conferences, stakeholder consultation and/or association committees on behalf of company and clients. Working in a team environment and promoting market presence. Qualifications: A University Degree in Chemical/Environmental Engineering from a recognized institution. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Limited Engineering Practitioner (LEP) licensed by the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) Minimum 5‐10 years of work experience (preferred) in the environmental consulting industry with a focus on air quality. Fluent with dispersion modelling software including AERMOD View. Experience with other advanced air dispersion models and/or meteorological data processing is an asset. Fluent with Microsoft Office Tools (i.e., Excel, Word, etc.) Proven experience developing air emission inventories. Sound knowledge of air regulatory requirements and a thorough understanding of air permitting and annual reporting. Ability to plan projects, coordinate resources, set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‐paced environment. Attention to detail and exceptional problem‐solving skills. Excellent technical writing and reviewing skills. Strong communication skills to communicate with team members, clients, subcontractors, and government agencies.
