Air Emissions Specialist

Our client is seeking an Air Emissions Monitoring Specialist to lead and execute complex air emission monitoring projects across various industries. This role involves fieldwork, leadership, and client interaction. Responsibilities include business development, overseeing field testing, ensuring regulatory compliance, mentoring junior technicians, and upholding safety and data integrity standards.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Location: Southern United States - Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Support business development initiatives.

• Lead on-site stack testing and emissions monitoring per regulatory methods.

• Manage field deployments, including logistics and safety.

• Analyze data, ensuring QA/QC protocols.

• Act as a technical liaison with clients and teams.

• Train and supervise junior technicians.

• Maintain analytical equipment.

• Support project scoping and budgeting.

• Stay updated on regulations and industry practices.

• Prepare and QA/QC technical reports.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in a related field.

• Experience in the Air Quality field.

• Ambient monitoring experience is an asset.

• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.

• Field/site experience is an asset.

• Valid driver's license.

• Excellent communication and team skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Organizational and consultation skills.

• Willingness to travel and work in various conditions.
