OUR CLIENT is currently looking for a dynamic Field Service Engineer to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:
• This individual must be highly motivated, able to work independently and manage and projects.
• Assist in providing technical consultation and guidance to ensure that equipment is installed properly and meets all contract and performance requirements. Maintains customer support with external customers.
• Provide routine, analytical services to equipment systems or applications for documentation of performance.
• Prepare and submit to customers and service reports detailing these analytical services and the results thereof.
• Maintenance of accurate records and communication of all data on customer sites.
• Provide detailed daily log of site activities and system operation during commissioning.
• Provide safety and application training to customer.
• Travel 75% of the time to customer sites both in the United States and Canada as required.
• Shall be eligible for a United States L1-B visa
• Other duties as specified by their manager.
Knowledge/Skills:
• Ability to take samples at customer sites and perform analytical chemistry tests specific to each site.
• Ability to train customers on the operation and maintenance of the systems being installed.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical skills, including the ability to inspect and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Direct knowledge, understanding, and adherence to cGMP principles and practices involved in the production and distribution of water purification for USP, WFI, Life Science and Commercial applications.
• Working knowledge of advanced water treatment systems, their components including pretreatment, reverse osmosis, EDI, multi-effect stills, vapor compression still and pure steam generators and support systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues on site or over the phone and assist in problem resolution.
• The ability to function and perform duties without direct supervision. • Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Ability to read, understand and follow Quality System documentation. • Good organizational skills.
• Advanced computer skills required including basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints.
• Be knowledgeable of GAMP 5 Good Automated Manufacturing Processes and how it applies to the service and Installation personnel. • Working knowledge of ISO 9001.
• Ability to complete complex electrical tasks including work with high and low voltage electrical.
• Knowledge of Rockwell RSLOGIX 5000 as well Factory Talk View. Siemens software an asset.
• Ability to read and trouble shoot PLC ladder logic. • Ability to tune various PID loops using ladder logic. • Ability to trouble shoot Allen Bradley HMI control panels and PLC modules.
• Ability to connect to controls systems remotely for troubleshooting • Upload and download HMI and PLC files, while working with Engineering to develop custom ladder logic to meet customer’s requests.
• Understanding the functional requirement specifications and ensuring that supplied equipment meets all requirements. • Knowledge of sanitization processes such as chemical, heat and Ozone.
• Scaling of 4-20mA instruments using ladder logic. • Ability to set IP addresses on various components.
Education;
• An ideal candidate typically possesses a BS/BA in related discipline. At minimum, a high school diploma or GED with at least 5 years of high-level Technical Service experience.
